The wrist strap and footwear tester was created to fill a growing demand for a dependable, low cost and easy-to-use test mechanism for personnel grounding devices. It is available as AR-8A Tester, (U.S. standards) a 750-kohms to 10-Mohms range for wrist straps and 750kohms to 100Mohms range for footwear and AR-8E Tester (European standards) a 750-kohms to 35-Mohms range for both wrist straps and footwear.

Operating Instructions:

Measuring Wrist Straps:

Connect wrist strap
Touch and press wrist button
Green light will illuminate and audible ton will sound indicating "pass"

Measuring Footwear:

	Connect the foot plate to AR-8 meter using zero ohms grounding wire A-FM9-0 Place your foot with the footwear grounding (heel or toe strap) on the foot plate Touch and press footwear button on the meter Green light will illuminate and audible tone will sound indicating "pass"
